# Free Online Photo Editor

Edit photos in your browser with a real layer stack: adjustment layers, masks, layer styles, selections, type and vector shapes. Open PSD, PSB and common image formats, and save or export the result as a download.

Runs in your browser. No FreeAIGeneration account required.

## Editor workspace

The editor opens here, across the whole content width. Nothing is downloaded until you launch it.

## Compatibility

Needs a current desktop browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. It renders with WebGPU and falls back to WebGL2 on its own; add ?webgl if a graphics driver misbehaves, or ?cpu for the most compatible (and slowest) path. WebGPU and clipboard access need HTTPS.

- The first launch downloads the engine (about 25 MB), so give it a moment on a slow connection.
- Save or export before you close or reload the page: PhotoCraft has no autosave and no crash recovery, and FreeAIGeneration stores no documents for you.
- Saving and exporting hand the file to your browser as a download — allow downloads for this site, or the save silently does nothing.
- Your preferences are kept in this browser for this site only, so clearing site data resets them.
- The file picker lists PSD and PSB. Upstream also documents opening and re-saving them at v0.7.0; we did not independently verify a full PSD round trip.
- PhotoCraft is an independent open-source project, not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Adobe Inc.

This tool needs a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with JavaScript enabled.
