- The first launch downloads a large engine: about 56 MB of WebAssembly, roughly 14–21 MB over the wire once the server compresses it. Nothing is downloaded before you press launch, and a fast connection makes a visible difference.
- Save and export go through your browser’s normal download. The editor keeps no document library and FreeAIGeneration stores no documents.
- The editor’s own interface is available in English, French, Spanish, German and several other languages, but not in Arabic yet.
- Arabic and other complex scripts render as empty boxes in this pinned version: the web build ships no font containing Arabic glyphs, although its text engine can already shape Arabic and bidirectional text. Latin, CJK and emoji text are unaffected.
- Upstream describes this release as alpha: most Illustrator workflows are present, some remain incomplete, and .ai round-tripping is unreliable. This page does not claim parity with Illustrator.
